Nigeria Flag Description
The Nigerian flag design consists of three vertical stripes of equal width. The first from left to right is green, followed by white and stripe to the far right is green. The Nigerian flag is a modified version of a designed in the year 1959 and submitted by Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi in a competition held to design the flag that would become one of the national symbols of Nigera and used in many state funerals throughout the years.
